Flopped DP’s visit to Moi was stage managed,says Kamket

Tiatty MP William Kamket has slammed Deputy President William Ruto over what he(Kamket) terms is stage managed DP’s flopped visit to Retired President Daniel Moi in Kabarak on Thursday.

In an interview with one of the media house , Kamket said that the Deputy President did not follow the right procedure in order to see Moi.

“ Moi has many officers paid by the state and to that point he should have used them to access Moi “ he said.

The Tiatty legislator called on on Ruto to up his political game, adding that Kamket the 2022 presidential contest will mainly be a tight race between Ruto and Baringo senator Gedion Moi and that it will be a race about ideas.

Once again he said Ruto should not consider himself the king of Kalenjin politics adding that the community has little to take pride in for the period Ruto has served as deputy president.

While cautioning Ruto against indulging the name of Gedion Moi in “ petty politics” Kamket said that Gedion has no powers to deny anyone to see his father adding that should the retired President not be willing to see him { Ruto } he can of course use other avenues to convey the same involving like the Kalenjin council of elders.

On the handshake issue, Kamket said that the Deputy President owes the people of Laikipia and Baringo an apology following the shoot to kill order he issued at the height of cattle rustling in the two counties.

He noted that many people and livestock lost their lives as a result of the order.
