Kihika calls on Kenyans to emulate Muslims in ensuring unity of purpose

Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has called on Kenyans to embrace each other and ensure unity of purpose.

Speaking over the weekend during a fundraiser towards development of WAQF (charity) building for Rahma Islamic Center in Nakuru County, Kihika said she was impressed by the unity of Muslim brethren, their steadfastness in faith and unity of purpose.

She called on Kenyans to emulate same adding that it is through peace and unity that development can be felt.

“I’ve always been impressed by the unity of our Muslim brethren. Their steadfastness in faith and unity of purpose which we should emulate as Kenyans in order to realize development” she said.

The fundraiser was also attended by Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka, National Assembly Leader of Majority Aden Dualle, MP Wajir West Ahmed Kholosh, ManderaWoman Rep Amina Gedow, and Nakuru County Deputy Governor Dr.Korir among other leaders.
