Respect President, Kuria tells Babu

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and his ‘Mbele iko Sawa Uhuruto lobby group took its campaign to Nakuru on Monday afternoon with calls for arrest of Embakasi East MP Babu Owino taking centre stage.
Speaking in Nakuru town, Kuria called on security agents to ensure MP Babu Owino is arrested for what the Legislator termed is disrespect to the head of state.
“The law should take its course and we are calling on the Inspector General and all those concerned to ensure Babu Owino is arrested just the same way they did to our Nakuru Chairman Manyara whom I bailed out” he said.
While stating that Jubilee was ready for repeat of presidential elections, Kuria once called on opposition coalition Nasa maintain peace and campaign in preparation for the October 26th repeat of Presidential elections.
“We want to tell Raila and Nasa people that they moved to court and court ruled that we have a repeat of Presidential elections and so we are ready as Jubilee for repeat and let them also prepare for that elections peacefully” said Kuria.
He once again slammed the opposition move to hold demonstrations as from Tuesday to evict IEBC commissioners from office.
The Legislator called on Nasa Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga to follow the law even if IEBC commissioners were to be removed in office.
Addressing the rally, Gilgil MP Martha Wangari drummed support for re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta calling on Nakuru Jubilee supporters to turn out in large numbers come October 26th.
The Gilgil legislator faulted a section of leaders who are moving around purporting that Nakuru is swing vote region.
“We want to inform you that Nakuru is not a swing vote but Jubilee” she said.
Sentiments echoed by Murang’a County Woman Rep Sabina Chege who called on Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinet to act on those causing disharmony across the nation.
“I want to call on Inspector General of police to play his part so that we can have a peaceful nation” she said.
Former Budalang’I MP Ababu Namwamba addressing the rally also drummed his support for Uhuruto come October 26th.
The former ODM legislator joined Jubilee also slammed at Nasa Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga for the staments he made that there will be no elections.
“There is one leader saying that we shall have no elections… under which law..I want to tell you Nakuru people that elections will be conducted come 26th of October” said Namwamba.
Other leaders who addressed at the rally included Uasin Gishu Woman Rep Gladys Boss Shollei,Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuda and Nominated MP Ole Sangok.
