Kenya should have a central cancer registry to capture and integrate incidences from all hospitals – private and public- for informed decision making process. Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui says the database will give accurate trends on cancer cases, types, risk factors and deaths over time for effective interventions. The Cabinet Secretary for Industry, Trade and Cooperatives Peter Munya has directed the Kenya Industrial Training Institute in Nakuru-KITI to ensure all students who complete their courses at the Institute graduate. The CS also assuring students that all the stalled projects at the institute will be completed.
